"Veritas numquam perit. Veritas odit moras. Veritas vincit."
"Truth never perishes. Truth hates delay. Truth conquers." - my personal motto
Today I traveled to New York City and appeared on FOX News' Freedom Watch show with Judge Napolitano. The Judge was primarily interested in learning more about my independent campaign, and why I chose to not declare with the lawless, unconstitutional collection of rogues who consistently show disdain for the rule of law. (Yes, I am referring to the political monopoly known as the Democrat and Republican parties, or Republocrats for short).
One detail I did not have a chance to mention is that nationwide the majority party is We the People, not the Democrats or Republicans. That's right! In case you have not noticed, the Republocrats do not share their membership rolls publicly. The reason for this appears to be that the dissidents (independents, third parties, and unregistered) amount to roughly 75 million while the Dems have 72 million and Reps 55 million. (Source)
I was also given a chance to highlight the "Our Open Office" concept, which can be read in further detail here.
The first 10 seconds are black before the video starts. I would like to take this chance to thank Raging Debate for building this website for the campaign and enabling commenting and logins, which is a sort of mini-Open Office.
PS - The campaign could use a hand at our stamping, stuffing, stapling (and folding) night TOMORROW, November 10th in Bethlehem!!!

FYI, press release issued on this, see also the debate challenge here http://towneforcongress.com/economy/towne-for-congress-invites-dent-and-callahan-to-debate-2
For immediate release
Yesterday Jake Towne, independent candidate for United States Congress in Pennsylvania's 15th district traveled to New York to appear on FOX News' Freedom Watch show with Judge Andrew Napolitano. Towne answered questions about his independent campaign and related that the two-headed, one-party system has utterly failed the American people. They also discussed Towne's novel-yet-simple plan of transparent and accountable government called the “Our Open Office” concept which can be read in detail at the campaign website, www.TowneForCongress.com.
Towne is challenging Republican incumbent Charlie Dent and Democrat John Callahan for the seat in next year's November election and has offered them a chance to debate, saying that many people in the district are hurting financially, and want answers from their candidates for government now. Towne vows to not enlist in the congressional pension plan which awards representatives up to 80% of their $174,000 salary for the rest of their lives, nor the elite congressional health care plan.
Towne's schedule includes a "Towne Hall" on Wednesday, November 25th 7 PM at the Bethlehem Township Community Center, and a speaking engagement in Philadelphia at the Constitution rEVOLution Tea Party on Saturday, November 22nd. Last week Towne raised over $2700 from 74 donors in a single day in an online “money bomb” created by grassroots supporters not affiliated with the campaign.

Jake, I just tried to write in to FOXNews telling them how great you were, but cannot find a link on their website for any such input. I also tried searching your name, but no success. If you know of a way to email FOXNews and would like to flood them with applause, let me know.

Great job, Jake!

Well holy cow, I think Jake Towne is going to become an anti-government, government celebrity. Can that exist?

Jake , is the man... wake up America, back to basics and homeschool yourself, the education you got wasn't that good .Learning is easy with Jake go to his site and read, read some more, then come back the next day and see how we can take this country back, one brick at a time. The time is now for all good men and women to come to the aid of their country, think freely and listen even harder.Start your own debate and invite open discussion and learn all you can through open government. The door will always be open at Jake's,How many Charlie Dent flips can we take, before we flop? Ans: none, Jake, nice job keep up the good work, it's all good.

Congratulations, Jake. I am in a similar position here in Maryland. I am an engineer running for the U.S. Senate seat in 2010. Hopefully I make it through the Primaries next September to go to the General Ballot in November.
I wish you well. A person here told me about you and I have been rather "quiet" - but since your interview with Judge Napolitano, I have to say you came across rather well. I feel the same way that you do about returning sanity and transparency to our constituents.
Good Luck.
