Yesterday I gave a couple of talks at Lafayette College, the first on how to resolve the unemployment problem and the second on social “insecurity.” My thanks to Marc for his kind invitation to come and speak with the group.
The text of the first talk largely came from my Jobs plank and can be downloaded in PDF from Scribd or this website.
The second talk on Social Security can be downloaded in PDF from Scribd or this website.
Each presentation has its sources listed in the slides for further review. I will probably write up my thoughts on Social Security later on, but feel free to leave any comments or questions below. Of course, I am available in the are to deliver these talks to other groups.
For those aware of my alma mater (Lehigh University) and Lafayette’s football rivalry, I did immediately share my fondest memories on Lafayette campus when Lehigh beat Lafayette (twice) there… as well as twice at Lehigh during my time there as an undergraduate.
