Dear Friends of Liberty -
Beginning March 10, we can start collecting the necessary 3,629+ signatures for ballot access. While as an independent I have no primary, I really could use both your signature and your help to collect enough signatures to assure ballot access as quickly as possible. The earlier this is done, the sooner I can “up the volume” some more on debating the Republocrats.
February’s Money Bomb Week raised $7,019 from 118 donors (including another $1,000 from myself), and the Voters With Change Money Bomb raised over $1100 from about 40 donors. THANKS TO ALL DONORS!! While some donors have given multiple times, the campaign has raised well over $25,000 from over 500 donors. For those used to the PAC-inflated numbers of the Republocrats, this might not seem like a lot, but this is #1 in the nation for an independent US House campaign.
Yesterday at Bowling for Kid’s Sake, our bowling team and donors raised $500 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Lehigh Valley. A good time was had by all, though my patented Grandma-style Gold Strike move only resulted in 2 spares and a score of 70 or so, but at least I beat Jessica who bowled about a 33.
Many thanks to Jessica Roth for organizing and promoting this event, I believe over $115,000 was raised from about 120 teams, so it was quite a spectacle, and just proves that charity is not only more effective than government taxation, but a lot more fun!! The campaign will continue philanthropy events, feel free to contact me to organize one. I personally have spent about 80 hours volunteering at Nazareth Memorial Library since the campaign began because without all the books I read there while younger I would not have been able to advance as far in my engineering career as I did.
Tomorrow on page A5 of the Express Times will be a great half-page political cartoon/advertisement that 3 volunteers worked on, please check it out here and below and spread it around. Many thanks to Jeff Cox for taking my photo, and Anthony Geist for the logo and artwork in the advertisement!!

The campaign is always searching for more liberty-oriented individuals to become leaders on the campaign. Right now the best way to help is with petitioning!!
I encourage anyone in the district to spread this “Who is Jake Towne?” flyer either by email or print it out and give to friends. More handouts are available here. The campaign also published an “Article Archive.”
In liberty,
Jake Towne

“Everyone carries a part of society on his shoulders; no one is relieved of his share of responsibility by others. And no one can find a safe way out for himself if society is sweeping toward destruction. Therefore, everyone, in his own interests, must thrust himself vigorously into the intellectual battle. None can stand aside with unconcern; the interest of everyone hangs on the result. Whether he chooses or not, every man is drawn into the great historical struggle, the decisive battle into which our epoch has plunged us.” — Ludwig von Mises
