Money Bomb Update, November Monthly, and a Call for Volunteers

MONEY BOMB UPDATE

On the Fifth of November, Towne for Congress took part in an online “money bomb” raising over $2763 in 27 hours from 74 individual donors.  A final count will not be available until after mail-in checks are received, and donations ranged from $5 to $200.  We thank all of the nearly 300 donors who have given to this independent campaign over the past 12 weeks of fundraising – I have truly been amazed and very humbled by the support.

Towne for Congress will deliver a competitive campaign because each and every dollar is a “vote” placed in faith with the campaign, and a mandate to deliver a race that will be remembered for some time to come.  Through November 4th, an informal breakdown of how funds have been used is here, and the official Sept 30th FEC is also linked.

I believe Towne for Congress was the only independent campaign in the money bomb and unofficially we placed about 10th in a field of 19 liberty candidates.  A HUGE thank you goes to grassroots activist Trevor Lyman who organized the money bomb site and updated it manually for 27 continuous hours.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS

Today Towne for Congress extended a formal invite to the incumbent and only other challenger to debate on the issues.  A fast-paced talk I gave Friday on Constitutional Money can be watched here.

Tomorrow I will be traveling to FOX’s studios in NYC to tape an interview with Judge Napolitano on his Freedom Watch show.  On Tuesday at 7 PM in Bethlehem we have a “Stapling, Stuffing, Stamping” (and lots of folding) event if you are available.  I will be there (folding) too, and we can chat while getting some work done.  On Saturday the 14th is the Tea Party March on Harrisburg.  We will have a booth at the Hilton for the post-rally banquet, and would appreciate any supporters who are willing to pass out flyers during the rally.  On Sunday the 22nd is the Constitution rEVOLution Tea Party at Philadelphia City Hall and the FED.  I will be on the bullhorn at the doors of the FED, and also give a 30 minute talk indoors at the Independence Hall Visitors Center – seating is reserved for the first 200 to RSVP here.  We will have a booth here as well.
Last but NOT least, on Wednesday Nov 25th – just before Thanksgiving – we are holding the first “Towne” Hall at 7 PM at the Bethlehem Township Community Center, 2900 Farmersville Rd. Beth. 18020.  Please come if you are able!!  Info on events can be read here, questions and RSVPs can be returned by email to towneforcongress@gmail.com.
Grassroots volunteer help is the key to this campaign!  All it will take are volunteers who are “As Good As Gold”!! Campaign volunteers are already hitting the streets because THE MESSAGE OF LIBERTY CANNOT WAIT.

Due to $$ constraints, we started two advertising campaigns, and are actively promoting “Who Is Jake Towne?” on the streets and other campaign-related news

As I mentioned in the last update the other key factor for this independent campaign – the eco-political climate – is continuing to improve with the third party Hoffman race in NY and the NJ Governor’s race.  Economic unrest causes political change.  Incumbents and career politicians both will start falling like scythed wheat everywhere in the coming years, just as they did in the Great Depression if the right message arrives.

There are certainly naysayers and party-hardliners out there, but please believe me – I have done a lot of talking with people from the polls yesterday to going door-to-door, and just about everyone wants to 1) have the problems fixed, 2) their voices heard and 3) select a newcomer who will serve the public best and is not the “lesser of two evils” and does not practice “politics as usual”.  I believe my message of transparent and accountable gov’t is arriving at exactly the right time as we move politics out of the Dark Ages. http://towneforcongress.com/mission/our-open-office

Towne for Congress is pleased to announce that Rebekah Forney has joined the campaign as Volunteer Web Leader last month and is quite busy spreading the word and leading the effort to take over local news’ comment trails among quite a bit else.

I encourage everyone to place a vote for me with a few bucks, even if its just $5.
