I am pleased to report that the campaign has nearly 2,500 signatures collected. 1,100 signatures are notarized and the remaining 1,400 are collected but not yet notarized and verified.
Pennsylvania permitted independents to begin collecting signatures on March 10th. In roughly the same period of time as the Establishment parties had, the campaign volunteers have matched their respective signature totals which indicates the size of grassroots support pitted against the PAC-funded career politicians.
While 1,000 signatures was all that was needed to file as a Republocrat, the campaign must file 3,629 valid signatures for ballot access, and plans to collect at least 7,000 to protect against Republocrat signature challenges. The campaign has until August 2nd to file, but this remains the top priority.
In order to expedite the process, a campaign volunteer has graciously decided to assist as Ballot Access Director. She can be reached at ginnycu2@aol.com with questions, or alternatively just call 610-392-8156.
*** Anyone wishing to help gathering signatures whether it is 5, 10, 50 or more, please visit here and then contact ginnycu2@aol.com with your name, phone number, mailing address, and email.
Below are the upcoming events, including an economics talk on solving the unemployment problem (yes, it’s pretty easy!) and Social Security at Moravian College next Tuesday, and a signature collecting event this Saturday in Bethlehem. The campaign’s first “Fun-Raiser” will be held on Sunday, June 6th, details here.
A huge THANK YOU!!! for the signatures collected to-date to all volunteers!

While, as an independent private citizen, I have no primary election, this is a key day to gather more signatures for ballot access and spread the message. As an independent, all that is necessary for me to be listed on the ballot is to collect enough signatures. Please contact towneforcongress@gmail.com if you are a registered voter in PA and can staff a polling station for part of or the entire day! We will likely arrange a little party as the day gets closer.
