In the early 1900′s, there were “Progressives” in both political parties, including President Theodore Roosevelt. They raged against corporations and “robber barrons”. I’m glad to read the truth – the income tax is a Marxist idea foisted on a complacent electorate. There are 73 co-sponsors for the FairTax Act in Congress – electing Jake Towne in PA-15 will add to that total!
