EASTON, PA – Towne for Congress launched its third half-page newspaper advertisement which appeared on page A5 of the March 9, 2010 Express Times. Many thanks to Anthony Geist, Kevin Daley, and Jeff Cox for their assistance in preparing it, and to the donors who paid for it!! As can be seen, the ad draws the viewer in and promotes the next several campaign events, including a Towne Hall and signature kickoffs (please view here for more information).

The campaign is also pleased to announce the next money bomb, which is tomorrow, Wednesday, March 10th. This money bomb has been organized and promoted by a grassroots supporter, legalizeliberty, of the DailyPaul.com. The money bomb thread is here, and is dedicated to the memory of John Gunby, of whom I had never heard of before legalizeliberty informed me of the event. His wiki biography is here, and I will leave you with a quote attributed to him after his father, who was a staunch loyalist for the English crown at the time of the American Revolution, told him he could be hung for treason:
“I am determined to join American forces, come what will. We have little fear, for justice will dominate, and the colonies, as victors, will live to adopt a crown of freedom, not one of oppression. Your arguments, your entreaties your commands will avail nothing. For me, I would rather sink into a patriots grave then wear the crown of England.“
I too am determined to unite all of the factions in my district that are discontented with the GOP incumbent and the White-House-backed Democrat – that is to say, just about everyone. Neither Establishment candidate offers any new ideas, just the same siren songs that led our country into economic turmoil and never-ending, nation-building wars. With the Our Open Office plan for open and transparent government, the promise to protect and defend the Constitution against its enemies, and to slash government spending beginning with my salary, the message is a very strong one.
