Who Is Jake Towne? Ad Campaign Launches

Towne for Congress is pleased to announce the kick-off of our second ad campaign with the theme of “Who Is Jake Towne?”

Running as a first-time candidate and as an independent private citizen instead of with the current two-party, one-headed system of Democrats and Republicans requires a lot of work and name recognition.  As I mentioned in “The Other Party,” few realize that unregistered, independents and third parties nationwide combined are larger than either of the Establishment parties.

Even fewer realize that in most cases these parties are costly, inefficient (but powerful) machines, and endorsed candidates can often rely on their party machine to provide money from special interest groups and lobbyists, paid professionals and volunteers, many of which are convinced there are actual distinctions between the platforms of each party and often rely more on vilifying and smearing their opponent than on displaying why their candidate can do a better job.  The differences between the Republicans and Democrats have shrunk tremendously over the last decade (example: the Department of Education) and unaccountable, reckless spenders, civil rights violators, Warfare-Welfare State proponents is sadly the new norm with few exceptions.

To improve name recognition and get the message out, we are rolling out these attractive weather-proof yard signs emblazoned with “WHO IS JAKE TOWNE?” and the campaign website.   These go hand-in-hand with a new grassroots tri-fold flyer (below) that lists the campaigns’ themes of Liberty, Sound Money, Accountability and the Rule of Law.  It also explains the Open Office concept, my mission and principles, as well as few brief biographical notes.

This handout and many more can be found here.  Even if you do not live in the district, I hope the flyers can still be of use.  If you do live in the district, the campaign would love to have your assistance at campaign events, but feel free to take the initiative on your own and spread the message of liberty either electronically or by printing up copies yourself!

Your help is welcome this weekend at the Nazareth and Allentown Halloween parades!

The campaign thanks campaign volunteer Ernest Ibarra, Jr. for the time he took to design the yard signs for the campaign!

For the Republic and the Constitution!
