The campaign had a successful week, collecting plenty of signatures for ballot access at campaign events. The photos in the post were taken this Sunday at Easton’s Heritage Day, where at times the booth was overwhelmed by people signing the petition and speaking with me or other volunteers. This Saturday, the campaign will have a booth at Nazareth Days in the borough park, see below!
While the campaign will continue to collect signatures at community events to expand the safety margin, our main focus is 1) notarizing all of the signatures already collected by volunteers and 2) verifying the last sets of signatures collected.
This Friday evening the campaign will be verifying signatures at headquarters<REDACTED>, and volunteers can get petitions notarized for free at this Wednesday’s Towne Hall in Bethlehem or the Fun-Raiser on Monday in Catasauqua.
If you would like to help verify signatures and are not available Friday evening, feel free to send an email to towneforcongress@gmail.com or call 610-392-8156 with the times and dates you are available to meet and verify.

Towne for Congress will hold a Towne Hall tomorrow, Wednesday, July 14th from 7-9 pm at the Bethlehem Township Community Center. The event is open to the public and the format is simply to ask Jake questions or make comments.
The campaign is excited to announce enough signatures have been collected for ballot access with a sizeable safety margin. The required amount for an independent in PA-15 is 3,629 signatures. Republocrat candidates for US Congress and even Governor of Pennsylvania file zero (0) signatures for the general election and just 1,000 or 2,000 respectively for their party primaries. More information will follow after the campaign files as the campaign is verifying the last sets of signatures collected.
To celebrate all the work placed into obtaining ballot access, the campaign is sponsoring a “Freedom Concert” on Friday, July 30th from 7 pm – 11 pm. The event is open to the public, families are welcome, below age 18 are free, and adults can make a $10 donation to the campaign. Several local musicians will be performing, including Kinetic Blu and Dave Cahill.
