Victory at the Debate and Two Front Page Articles!!

The Monday debate was a clear victory for the campaign.  First of all, I was in the actual debate which cannot be taken for granted as the Republocrats truly prefer no competition.  Second of all, I stood up for the campaign’s principles and quite honestly the answers Mr. Dent and Mr. Callahan gave were the same-old, failed policies.  I think the forum set an excellent foundation for the upcoming debates, and the newspaper coverage from both local papers was great.

Check out the below summary from WFMZ-TV and also more debate footage here.  Debate schedule below!  Also, many thanks to the 43 donors who gave $2,220 in yesterday’s money bomb.  This money is sorely needed to continue the campaign’s radio ads!!

“The parties have betrayed you.” is the PERFECT quote under your picture. It summarizes everything you’re about!

Jake, you did a great job. Way to stick to your guns on the Bush Tax Cuts.

Dr. Paul himself supported them, even when it wasn’t popular at all. Most people need to understand that the tax code we have is a regressive Communist tax code founded on Karl Marx’s principles.

Hopefully trade deals, medicare/social security, and education can be brought up in the next debate.

If elected Jake, who will you vote for as Speaker of the House?

    Dear Bridges -

Someone that shares the basic goals I have been elected under – stopping the endless debt, endless wars, and agrees on the basics on how to solve the jobs problem.

I would also use the Open Office idea to collect feedback locally.

Excellent debate Jake. I love the quote “The parties have betrayed you.” Keep up the fight! I support you here from NOLA (New Orleans) and just contributed what I can. As my field is in securities regulation, let me know if you have any questions or would like to discuss issues in this area.

    Jake-

Unfortunately I could not get into the debate due to the overwhelming interest. It is great to see so many interested in this election. Keep up the good work, your message resonates with a lot of unhappy voters at this time.
