Privacy Policy

We take our members right to privacy seriously. We find it important to disclose the data collection and usage practices of the Raging Debate network in conjunction with the Affiliates of Raging Debate network including but not limited to Towne for Congress and The Burning Platform are provided our technologies and therefore all sites within our network have an identical privacy policy. Raging Debate network controls all the data collection, notification technology functions and security mechanisms surrounding data and is located at 340 Central Ave, Dover NH. We are a trademarked and registered corporation of the State of New Hampshire. We have a physical building and run a professional organization.

Membership

Towne for Congress and the Raging Debate network were founded by Patriots just like you whom feel the necessity to provide citizen powered media to disseminate the truth online. Membership is always voluntary and our mission is to ask for your help to restore America, not play bait-and-switch games with your public or sensitive, private information. Since government is not watching your best interests in regards to data, we feel it is our obligation as fellow citizens to honor what we consider a sacred relationship to restore our nation. If you do not agree with the terms of this Policy and how we utilize data to complete our mutual objectives, we ask that you do not register with Raging Debate network of websites.

What Information We Collect/How We Use It

Raging Debate utilizes the information provided to us in accordance with the terms of this Policy and governed under U.S. State and Federal Law.

  1. Registration: The Raging Debate registration form requires that you provide certain information for membership status. That information includes name, email address, screen name, password and zip code. The primary use of email address is utilized for notification purposes between members and to deliver news content. The members are forbidden in our Terms of Service from advertising to one another. If a member wants to email you directly from blogging, forum and/or profile technologies that exist on the Raging Debate network they are permitted to, but they cannot see your email address until you as a member initiate dialogue which exposes your email address to another member. Warning messages appear on Raging Debate’s network of sites when technology functions that you initiate reveal your email address.

    Secondary use of data pertains to email regarding corporate sponsors. These sponsors do not receive your email data as a marketing or sales list EVER. Raging Debate has its own secure advertising platform that resides at 340 Central Ave, Dover NH. Raging Debate caps the amount of email news content delivered via email and also keeps advertising to a minimum. Advertising via email is for the sole purpose of supporting the Citizens Powered Media news platform until such time as we have enough donors to fund operations. See Terms of Service on our transparent, no-nonsense business model. It will help you feel a lot better we are stewards that take our job seriously of eliminating abusive email practices and only providing messaging of value. You can opt-out of any form of notification from us at any time. Raging Debate network is getting better at giving specific member-driven choices of notification frequency or contact functions in our technology that utilize email. The Patriotic members themselves acting in unison as We the People are the collaborative effort that are driving email notification processes. We are just here to listen and implement what you want us to do in communicating with one another while having enough resources to fund operations in the least intrusive way possible.

  2. Profile: Raging Debate network allows its members to create and update a personal profile. This is a complete voluntary action done by you. Information on your profile can be viewed by all members with the intent of you finding other people to collaborate with in restoring America. The Raging Debate network may use such information to provide targeted content delivered to your email address.

Disclosures To Regulatory Agencies Or Corporate Merger & Acquisition

Raging Debate network may disclose member information about you and your use of the Raging Debate Web Site and the Raging Debate Services if:

Raging Debate believes such disclosure is absolutely necessary to comply with State or Federal law; to protect or defend the rights or property of Raging Debate network members or; if Raging Debate management feels there is an immediate specific threat to a member or group of members. Raging Debate reserves the right to notify the authorities of death threats, or other violent criminal actions against other members.

Raging Debate network entities wishing to pursue corporate merger and acquisition activities which would require the transferring of all or partial, member information, assets or stock of Raging Debate network should understand the founders of Raging Debate network will maintain majority control of the business. Raging Debate network will not accept M&A offers that are associated with any group attempting to further divide America on political lines, loot taxpayers or are owned by hostile sovereign nations. The U.S. government may play fast and loose with your data in engaging other sovereign nations and with its corporate 3rd party relationships but we do not. Members should understand our intent is to operate until at least after the 2012 elections and our collaborative business plan is four years (2009-2013).

Security

The Raging Debate network has secured your registration information using password, encryption, firewalls and other measures to protect the loss, misuse or alteration of your registration or profile information. Our hardware infrastructure is housed in a controlled access facility that restricts unauthorized individual access outside of Raging Debate's employed technology officers that reside at 340 Central Ave, Dover NH. Member information is backed up on a regular basis to protect against loss or incidental destruction and that back-up process is done internally. However, we cannot guarantee that communications between you and Raging Debate network will not be intercepted by others and that information stored on our servers will be free from unauthorized access. While we have taken extreme precautions to protect and secure your information, you should always use discretion in what information you send to other members that could disclose your true identity on the Internet.

Children

Raging Debate network is committed to the safety of children. Children under the age of 18 may not register or participate in any of our services. Raging Debate.com network of websites may contain profanity and graphic depictions of warfare, comedy or provocative illustrations while direct nudity is forbidden. Children under 18 that attempt to use the Raging Debate network service will be terminated immediately after discovered. Management may contact a child’s guardian such as parents or other relatives to alert a child’s guardian of violation of our policy.

Privacy Policy Updates

Raging Debate network may revise or amend this Policy in the future to improve Raging Debate service, develop future services, comply with applicable law or reflect changes in the political or business environment. We will notify users prior to change of this Policy via our network of websites or via email.
